Arrived before Subh... Then we prayed Subh after failing to spot for available restroom. Went for breakfast, as usual the menu was Croissant. A cup of hot choc or coffee served well, though I don't mind for having orange juice for the morning. Hanging around SF and got into hotel at about 3 p.m. I was so tired coz was the one driving, made me cursing silently crying for rest. At last, slept from before the dawn till 1 in the morning. Lucky though coz we were musafirs, so got no problem to sleep from 'Asr till Isya.'
So, that's it. That's the first day of life in SF. Damn tired. But, still happy to see the bridge from far, and visited couple of places before checking in into hotel. Lousy hotel, but restaurant for breakfast is down stairs (everyday with Croissant) and even halal restaurant is 2-3 blocks away. Not bad, though.

On this date, we spent our last day in LA, driving through LA City, heading to Universal Studio City Walk and Hollywood Walk of Fame. What else? Let's the pictures do the talking...

LA

So, this is the day we hanged out around LA, got good foods in Univ. Village in USC. Visited Aie and got directions, to Beverly Hills and Venice Beach. So, just seeing around the areas. Kinda boring but still that was the best choice we got, as we did not plan to visit anywhere else on that day. It was okay, though nothing was so amazing. Maybe the best part was visiting our friend, Aie, after a while since we all arrived here in the US.

Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam
|
|
At first, I was the driver from Vegas to Grand Canyon. But, I had to take a nap since I was so sleepy. So, on the way to G.C. my friend took my place as the driver and drove all the way to G.C. I woke up in the middle of the travel and seeing beautiful scenery, it was a national park. When we arrived at G.C. we paid for the entrance which is 20 bucks per car. When the car stopped, I could not wait to take pictures of the great G.C.
We acted like almost 2 hours sightseeing the place. It was awesome. Even words could not tell how fascinated we were at that time. We were so happy to be there, acting was another way to cheer up ourselves since we had travelled all night long before arriving at G.C. around 10 a.m. Still lucky to arrive that early coz being later than that might cost us to wait for a parking spot.
And all the way back to Vegas, we stopped by at Hoover Dam. But, we did not viisit the dam at all, just stopped at a point which is still in Arizona, just for seeing the dam from far. We were questioning ourselves why such a dam caught people's attention... probably it's because the dam was built in the 50s, which during that time even our beloved homecountry still being colonized. Will that be a good reason? Yep, it served well for all of us from Malaysia
Worth to mention, I was the one driving and never in my mind to imagine that we had to pass through heavy rains which actually caused me to lose sight of the road. But, I managed to follow another car whose driver was so sharp, enabling me and my passenger to pass every single rainy area at a light speed. Maybe my mind at that time was kinda in hurry to leave the rainy area since I sometimes got scared when I could not see the road properly. That's why I was trying my best to pass through the area(s) as soon as possible. Definitely I drove around 80 mph, or about 130 kmph. Kinda crazy to drive that fast during a rainy day...

This is the day when we all start travelling. Took flight around 5 a.m. which at that time the airport is so dark and we all were part of the early comers on that morning.
The four of us arrived earlier than the other six guys. So, we waited for them about an hour and killed some time before renting 2 cars. During the day, we decided not to stay at any hotel because it was weekend, the price is double. So, we hanged around Vegas City and at night, we departed to Grand Canyon.

Bristol Renaissance Faire
|
|
|
Went to Kenosha for the faire, with friends, Zul and Paeh. The faire has so many booths and shops. Not to forget, the events we saw were not bad too. The experience was like being in the 17th century. I even touched a sword which is more than 350 years old. And so many more, the visit was so great! At least, we see in our own eyes about the environment during European medieval era, but the smell stinks, especially with beers.
