This is the first wedding of my batch which I had attended.. missed 2-3 or maybe 4 walimah already, so the first one should be a no-excuse-and-should-come occasion especially while not being employed that time. So, congrats to Lida and say hello to fellow ex-classmates, long time no see and then that day was the day we met again...
But, what can I say, some people wanted to share their thoughts and expressions about how I was in class about 5-6 years ago, I don't give a damn since I agree I was like angel, and nowadays, I'll just be a person who knows how to set foot on the ground, no more floating in the air... hohoho, only Santa Claus could fly, not me hohoho... I should say Satan, not Santa
Lantaklah, say what you wanna say, I'll just hear it and shake my head to my old self [i][list]

Rented a car, drove all the way to the East. But the first day was quite challenging. Right away after picking up the car, there was a heavy traffic jam, just because of an accident blocking the interstate highway. Stopped at Racine after avoiding the traffic, and printing map for driving direction. Didn't really prepare much for the trip, that's why everything was like on the spot matter.
So, the whole day was spent travelling from Milwaukee to Niagara Falls, it's a name of a city in New York, near Buffalo. Need not to tell everyone about the city, it is obvious the name tells everything.

Bye-bye

Goodbye.. meet again in Malaysia!

Sending ma and others back home through Milwaukee airport. Didn't really take pictures coz I myself was pretty tired. A week of being a tour guide was a tiring experience. But, still glad coz able to provide ma and others a simple vacation here in the States, proving to them that life over here is way relaxing, against what was mentioned to ma by our neighbor. The neighbor didn't really know what life is coz it is different between to live here and to travel only for the sake of holiday.
Anyway, things gone smoothly and smilingly yooosh!!

The day where everything stopped and started for me. Stop from going around and start to set my foot on the ground But, mixed feeling between going back to M'sia or staying here. Hoping to come back and stay here when the time comes. Weird eh?

Woke up late coz the plan on that day is only shopping and resting coz the day after that day was the commencement day. Been busy travelling, should be time for shopping! That morning, we walked around the neighborhood... one of the neighbors is very friendly, saying hello while she was busy with planting her flowers ... by the way, thanks to Kak Nana and husband for her generosity for providing a place for us to day for a night...
Then, went to Gurnee Mills... I don't remember how much we spent, what I now I was the only one who was thinking of going back, maybe women are more eager and strong in shopping mall
Anyway, we only walked less than half of the shopping mall area... that's how big Gurnee Mills is... sadly no digital pictures were taken coz I didn't bring ma camera...
Today I shopped at Gurnee Mills too coz today is the weekend before Memorial Day... so, it's shopping time I'm typing this half awake coz I just got back home

Went to Chicago. Boarding the train, went to a park, up on Sears Tower Skydeck, and heading back to Gurnee where we parked the car at the train station. Then, went to Kak Nana's place which is not too far from the station.

I am a total slacker right now... am I? Naa... I just hate to do editting on captured images... so, these 3 pics are raw ones... but they are what I believe memorable for the Spring moment, which I really enjoy observing the change of nature around me...
I wish I could see this beauty again in the future...

Too bad coz I didn't take pictures a lot... just after I managed to learn how to snowboard, I started to take some pictures... I even hit my camera which I put inside my pocket... but luckily it did not break... a friend of mine had broken his camera's LCD display... too bad, a thin camera is more vulnerable, I suppose...
By the way, snowboarding is hectic and challenging... it is difficult than what you think.... at first you say, it won't be too bad... but when you tried it, you'll know how bad you can do even in balancing your body on the board... probably those who like skateboarding know better how to snowboard... but yes, I do like snowboarding.... it's more fun, tanoshikatta!
Anyway, thanks to my friend, David Graham, for some of the pictures.... at least we got some memorable pictures to remind us the day we badly hurt ourselves falling on the icy hill when snowboarding... it's worth 60 bucks, you know... so it should be a worth experiencing activity
